When you use Aeterno, we collect:

• Account information — your email address (required to create an account)
• Profile information — your name and birth date, if you choose to provide them in Settings
• Conversation data — the messages you exchange with Aeterno
• Authentication data — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and name from those providers

We do not collect payment information, location data, or device identifiers beyond what is standard for web applications.

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide and personalise the Aeterno experience
• Remember your conversation history across sessions
• Allow Aeterno to address you by name and reference your birth date in readings
• Maintain your account securely

We do not use your data to train AI models, serve advertising, or build profiles for third parties.

We use Gemini 2.5 Flash as the AI model powering Aeterno. We do not store raw API requests beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

Your account data and conversation history are stored securely on Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database with row-level security. This means your data is logically separated from other users — no other Aeterno user can access your conversations.

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, those providers authenticate your identity and share your email address and name with us. We do not receive your password. The respective privacy policies of Google and Apple apply to their authentication services.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Delete — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Correct — update your name or birth date at any time in Settings
• Export — request an export of your conversation history

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and conversation history are permanently deleted within 30 days.

You can delete individual conversations at any time from within the app.

Aeterno is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Aeterno after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
